Not sure what to say?

For some unknown reason Ron Worthington popped into my mind tonight. I wanted to look up his career as a college football player. Sadly, I ran into this. He was our science department head at LHS when I first got there. I remember his interesting stories about the shrimp aquaculture business. My condolences to Ron's family. Rest in Peace, Sir.

Gosh this made me so sad to just hear about his passing. He was one of my favorite teachers... I´d always fall asleep in his class and he lightly poke me in the cheek to wake me up calling me by my last name always. May his sweet spirit fly high!

His obituary is beautiful. I was so sorry to hear about your loss, Mrs. Worthington. Praying for God's peace and love to cover you and your family.

I graduated LHS class of 1999. Mr. Worthington was one of the best teachers I had. I´ll never forget dissecting cow parts in his class. Every day was fun and educational with him. I´m so sorry for the family´s loss!!!!! He was such a huge asset to the student body.

Rest in Peace, Ron!

Truly one of the greatest teachers ever! I graduated lecanto high school 20 years ago and took all of the classes he taught and his lessons still stick out in my mind like it was yesterday. The impression this man made on who I became really shaped me! Fly high Mr Worthington! My sincerest condolences to his family and friends he truly was a great one

I had known him years before that, as I had his first wife as my fifth grade teacher at Lecanto Primary and he visited our class often. Such a kind and knowledgeable man with a great sense of humor. I was happy to read about his last fishing trip being fulfilled in the...
