Not sure what to say?

Mr. Wright was an instrumental teacher in my education. He brightened the minds of his students and taught them principles and skills that helped them all to learn the fundamentals of how things are made. He was a fair and honorable teacher and a person I have always had great respect for. Please take heart in knowing that he shared great knowledge and integrity to a generation of students, who now can share that with the next generation.

Many of you know him as Mr. Wright, some even know him as Ron but I know him as Dad. My Dad was a great father, honest, fair, unconditional and most of all funny. He was the type of father I could only hope to strive to be a fraction of. He was always at least a phone call away and if he didn´t pick up he would always call you right back. He was the jack of all trades and enjoyed sharing his knowledge. If he didn´t know, he would research and teach you. Dad I miss your teachings, I also miss...

I love you Grandpa... you always had a soft spot for Chel and I. I remember your snake Fluffy lol and you always sitting at your kitchen table watching TV. When I had Ace (your only Great Grandchild)... you bought the expensive carseat I wanted and the stroller so it could "lock" into it... When I came home to Florida for Christmas and ended up taking Ace to urgent care late at night... you didn't comment on any of my anxiety or craziness... you just said to take him in and see what they say....

I love you Grandpa. You gave the best hugs and always squeezed so tight. I will miss always seeing you at mom's house for any and all occasions. I enjoyed talking to you on the phone and you always willing to help with anything.

When I was five, I had surgeries on my tendons. My dad was there. I remember he held my hand and when I woke up, he was the first person I saw. Later on in life, I was in college and repeated the surgery. I asked my dad to hold my hand, he did. This is just one memory. He was an incredible father. No matter what, he was there for me. I loved him so much and miss him dearly.

Forming words to honor my father is tough. To narrow down specifically what he meant to me and my siblings, I can't find the words. My dad loved teaching woodshop. You folks will never know the sadness that he had when he retired. He loved his students and teachers. He kept all the pictures he took of your final class projects. To watch him talk to a former student that was many years removed was amazing, because he remembered all your names. All my siblings took his classes. I remember...

Great teacher. Inspiring. My mom still has the fruit bowl I made. I went on to high school wood shop and after college took adult classes at Conant HS, making Mantle clocks... rip
