Ronald Yasui

I am so saddened to hear of Ron’s passing. He was an amazing person. So full of energy. Nothing slowed him down.

His students were his life the year he had them. He cared deeply for each and every one of them.

We had many good times at Maplewood Heights. He was a loyal Cougar fan, and took my teasing about Apple Cup well.

You will be deeply missed my friend. RIP. I’d like to extend my sincerest condolences to the Yasui family.

Ron will be missed so much. His greatest joy was teaching and he was the best.

I taught with Ron at Maplewood and we became close friends. His kindness and sharing outshined everyone. Going out of his way to help others was so natural for him. I can’t count the number of times he problem-solved with me. The word ‘awesome’ does not do him justice—he was better than awesome.

I will miss him and I send my sympathies to his family he always spoke so lovingly about. ...
