Ronnie and I grew up as great friends. Our families were close and we spent many happy times at the zerkel home place. My father owned a house close to Bryce and it was called the "Mountain Farm". Many happy times were there. My first time as a deer Hunter, my dad paired me off with Ronnie. We were on a hill packed with snow and all we did was fall down. Never saw a deer and I never got to shoot. I couldn't hit the side of a barn door. Ronnie thought this was hilarious. We remained good...

Being around Ronnie was a fun time. I remember our years at Stonewall Jackson and the Beatles wig he had. He was very active in the community. I enjoyed visiting with him at our Class of 1965 lunches. He will be missed
