RONALD J. ZROMKOSKI
Ronald J. Zromkoski, age 69, a longtime resident of Hobart passed away on Tuesday, August 11, 2009. He was born on May 24, 1940 in Gary, Indiana the son of Joseph and Stephanie Zromkoski. Ron worked as a layer out for U.S. Steel 210 Plate Mill retiring after 35 years of service. Ron was married to Donna Anderson on April 10, 1976 in Hobart. He was a member of Assumption B.V.M. Catholic Church, and the Steelworkers Union Local 1014. Ron enjoyed the outdoors and taking care of his yard. His great joy was taking his grandson fishing. He was a wonderful husband, father, grandfather, brother, and a friend to all. Ron is survived by his loving family; wife Donna Zromkoski, Hobart, sons Ronald (Cindy) Zromkoski, Portage, and Michael Zromkoski, Florida, daughters Dana (Dwayne) Wilson, Hobart, Melissa (Sonny) Stevens, Gary, Christine Lemanski, Hobart, step-children Melvin (Donna) Conrad, Knox, Debra (Doug) Wokurka, Washington, Marla Conrad, Virginia, nine grandchildren; Zachary, Trevor, Tyller, Taylor, Kayli, Erica, Courtney, Mikey, A.J., six step-grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren; sisters, Joan Zromkoski, Hobart, sister-in-law Fran Zromkoski, Hobart, numerous aunts and uncles, and other loving family and dear friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, and his brother Eugene Zromkoski. A graveside service will be held at 11:00 am on Monday, August 17, 2009 at Calvary Cemetery in Portage with Father Lourdu Pasala, officiating. Memorials in Ronald's memory may be made to the V.N.A.
