Sheldon T. Banks Funeral Chapel Obituary

BRAXTON, Mr. Rondale "Rowdy"-age 43, of Flint, passed away Thursday, August 16, 2018.  Funeral services will be held 11:00am Saturday August 25, 2018 with a 10:00am family hour at House of Prayer Missionary Church 1851 W. Carpenter Rd., Flint, MI 48505. Pastor Kenneth Stewart officiating. Calling hours will be 10:00 a.m. until 7:00 p.m. Friday, August 24, 2018 at Sheldon T. Banks Funeral Chapel 3021 S. Dort Hwy., Flint, MI 48507.

Mr. Rondale Jerome Braxton was born August 6, 1975 in Detroit, MI the son of Donna Stephanie Brown and Jerry J. Farley. "Rowdy" was raised in Detroit, MI and graduated from Starr Commonwealth Boys School.  He moved to Flint the summer of "1993" at the age of 18, where he worked temporary jobs and for Ryder Trucks.  In 1996, he said that he wanted to live here in Flint and this is where he stayed.  "Rowdy" enjoyed making people laugh and was the life of the party.  He was outgoing, caring and just a crazy person.  He always had something off the wall to say from the whistle to the quarters in his ears, one hand push-ups, making his belly roll and just to walk up and say Uuuhuuuuuhh!!! to putting the city on lock with do the "Whoadie" to everyones favorite line  'Put your seat belt on."

Mr. Rondale Braxton leaves to cherish his memory: mother, Donna Stephanie Brown; brother, Deonte Brown; sisters, Cassandra Lee Braxton and Saquetlia Brown; nephews, Donell Braxton and Dequan Braxton; nieces, Angel Brown, Jamyya Brown, Jasmine Cruz, Cassandra Smith, Leilani Kidd and Olivia Brown; aunts, Darlene Braxton, Willie Farley and Henrietta Harris; numerous cousins including special cousins, D'Mari Braxton and D'Wan Braxton; Godsister, Latrice Lockett; a host of other relatives and friends including Jackson Ave.

Mr. Rondale Jerome Braxton was preceded in death by: father, Jerry Jerome Farley; sisters, Tiwanna Braxton and  Dominique Braxton; grandmother, Parlee G. Braxton.

The family would like to express special thanks to Sheldon T. Banks Funeral Chapel, House of Prayer Missionary Baptist Church and to the love of his life Ebony Blake (baby momma.) 

Donations will be accepted at Sheldon T. Banks Funeral Chapel, 3021 S. Dort Hwy., Flint, MI 48507.  Monday-Friday from 8:00am - 4:00pm.
