I was very saddened to hear of this. Roni and I were best friends in jr. high. We went to Clark Jr. High in Anchorage together. We spent time together after school baking cakes, watching Star Trek, going rollerskating at the Royal Roller Rink on Debarr. We went sledding at Russian Jack sledding hill and dreamed about what our futures would be like. I moved and spent the rest of my schooling in NakNek. We both ended up living on the Kenai Peninsula years later. We rescued stray animals and...

We were so shocked and saddened to hear of Roni's passing. She always watched over the pack of us kids growing up, and had a humorous patience with all our shenanigans. We will be thinking of all of you as you celebrate her life this weekend.
