Ronald E. "Ronnie" Crews, age 65, of West Baden Springs, Ind., died at 3:49 PM, Sunday, November 30, 2008, at his residence. Ronnie was born on January 18, 1943 to Elmer Frank Crews and Esther Jane (Mills) Crews. Ronnie was a 1960 graduate of Springs Valley High School and was retired as a superintendent from Patoka Lake Regional Water & Sewer District in Dubois. He was a member of Elon Christian Church and the American Legion Post #76. He was a past member of the West Baden Volunteer Fire Department and had previously served on the West Baden Town Board. He is survived by his Mother, -Esther Crews of French Lick, Ind. One Daughter, -Keely Kluesner and her husband, Shawn of French Lick, Ind. One Son, -Tyson Crews of Pekin, Ill. and his fiance', Jenny Liu of Taiwan Three Sisters, -Marilyn Jane Shipman of West Baden Springs, Ind. -Judy Pearl Peek of French Lick, Ind. -Sherry Pauline Burress of Madison, Ind. Three Brothers, -Virgil Lee Crews of French Lick, Ind. -Charles Edward Crews of French Lick, Ind. -Roger Frank Crews of West Baden Springs, Ind. Two grandchildren, -Kaedan & Tynley Kluesner of French Lick, Ind. He was preceded in death by his father, Elmer Crews and a nephew, Trevis Hollingsworth. Arrangements are being handled by T.L. Pinnick Mortuary, 785 South Bears Bend Road, French Lick, Ind., where the family will receive friends from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM Tuesday, December 2, 2008 and from 8:00 AM to 1:00 PM Wednesday, December 3, 2008. Funeral service will be at T.L. Pinnick Mortuary at 1:00 PM Wednesday, December 3, 2008, with Rev. Jim Petty officiating. Interment will be at Patoka Memorial Cemetery in French Lick, Ind. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made to the Orange County Relay for Life, c/o T.L. Pinnick Mortuary, 785 S. Bears Bend Rd., French Lick, Indiana 47432.
