We were neighbors with Ronnie and Gay for several years at Camp Beauregard. Ronnie was a good friend, always will to help and always grilling something on his outdoor grill and will to share. Ronnie was a best neighbor and friend.

I met Ronnie Elmo high in the Colorado Rocky Mountains in the summer of 1967. From the moment we met we were fast friends. We worked together at Aspen Lodge for two summers and spread our youthful energy far and wide. Together we developed a deep love for the majesty of the Rockies. Throughout the many years since then we shared many times "making memories" from New Orleans to the highest peaks of Colorado. His unconditional friendship has lasted us almost 50 years. I remember Ronnie fondly in our growing years as our parents were friends and playing on the banks of Flaggon Creek where our parents had camps. My prayers for all of you during the coming days.
