Ronnie was a special friend who was always there when I needed a Hug and a Smile. Never saw her so often but when I did, always a Soul Mate.

That blue ceramic bowl still sits on my kitchen counter. Every day I'm reminded of you.

I'm going to miss talking about movies with Ronnie. I'm going to miss exchanging e-mails about those films. I remember Ronnie telling me how much she liked the smell of laundry fresh from the drier. Me, too. I first met Ronnie sometime after 1990. We used to run into each other a lot on the Upper West Side. Though I hadn't seen Ronnie much in recent years, I always thought about her when I'd seen a movie I really liked, and wondered if Ronnie had seen it, too. I'm really going to miss her...

I was so deeply saddened to hear about Ronnie's death..we were "best friends" for many of our early years, and then lost touch soon after I married in 1965.I tried many times to locate her, but never could. She was a dear and thoughtful friend during those young adolescent years; I remember her with great affection.

I am a longtime friend of Scott and Kitty and met Ronnie through them 30 + years ago. When I got married Ronnie sent us a blue ceramic bowl which all these years later still sits in our kitchen. I must walk by it at least 20 times a day and in my minds eye I see Ronnie and always makes me smile. Don't forget that as long as there are friends around who remember Ronnie she is with us.

Dear Carol,
I read of Ronnie's passing in the NY Times & wanted to say hello to you. I am Janet Nelson's younger sister Karen. Ronnie & I lived together in NY City before I married in 1967. That was the year your Dad passed away. I had heard that Ronnie moved to Calif. & was sorry we lost touch. The things I remember most about her was her beautiful smile & her great legs!I am sure this was a great loss to you because I know Janet & I have lived in the same town ( Montclair, NJ)...
