Rory and José and I were hiking off in a canyon (I wish I could tell you which one), and on the way we stepped over a chunk of very interesting rock, which I'd describe as petrified mud flow. When we got back to the trailhead, Rory set his pack down in the bed of the truck, and it sort of thunked. Yes, he had picked it up and carried it as a gift for me, and it weighed at least 15 pounds.
