Oh, I just found out about Rosé's passing today. I am so saddened but also heartened when I think about her love of life, joie de vivre, and the outsized impact she had on the lives of all who had the pleasure to know her. We were neighbors on 16th Avenue and kept up over technology these last few years. She was a great cheerleader for me and my children; she had a kind word for everyone and was just the coolest human being. My condolences go out to all who called her friend or family.

I met Rosé shortly after moving into her neighborhood in 2003. She loved good friends, good times, good food, good causes. I recall several meals with the macrobiotic potluck group she helped organize, and lively parties in her back yard. I enjoyed learning about her time as a Fuller Brush salesperson and as a candidate for the Phoenix city council. My namesake with an accent on the é was very special to me. We always stayed in touch and we shared the same spirit. She and her sister Carm, we´re the closest "grandmas" to my son, Eric Griswold as he didn´t have a chance to meet his grandmother, Esther. Rest In Peace dearest Rosé.
