I was privileged to have seen the Dixie Cups (and Joe Jones) with they toured U.S. Military Bases in Vietnam. They were gracious enough to meet after their show in Phan Thiet, Vietnam (Septimus 1966) for taking a photo with them. God Bless

I just learned of the death of Rosa Lee Hawkins, and I send you my heartfelt condolences and sympathy. She will be missed by all who love her. As a young person, I grew up listening to The Dixie Cups music in the 1960s. My favorite is “Chapel of Love.” The beautiful blending and close harmonies of their voices made beautiful music.
