Ms. Rosa...I will miss you but will forever remember...our talks, laughs, your smile, your friendship with my grandmother (Sister Flowers), your plum tree in the front yard (though it is not there anymore) and your spunky attitude...there are tears in my eyes and my heart is heavy but I know that you were here for a reason and touch so many lives. Rosa took care of my brother, sister & me when we were growing up and always made sure that we knew she loved us like her own children. Rosa has been a blessing to each one of us as well as to our Mom, Miss Nell. Mom will greatly miss her phone conversations with Rosa!

We all visited Rosa a few years ago when we took a sofa & chair to her... and Lord knows Rosa kept us laughing the whole visit! She just couldn't believe that we had actually grown up.... God Bless You, Rosa!...

Mamma Rosa will be missed especially from her favorite seat at church and the great sense of humor. We pray that God's peace will sustain you at this time of sorrow. Please know that they are many who care and share in your sorrow.

To Ms Bella and Paula and the rest of family, I was sorry to hear of your lost. I pray you will find comfort in knowing that her work was done here and God called her home to be at rest. Let the memories of her that you have in heart sustain you today, tommorrow and always.

I was Rosa's insurance man for only a short time, but we have been great friends for many years. She was truly a great friend to me. We would sit on the porch and laugh and tell stories. Oh how she would make me laugh. She and I would eat muskadine grapes and drink ginger ale. She'd tell me all about Leroy and the girls. We had so many great times together.
