During my visits to Chicago I always looked forward to visiting with my Tia Rosa. I looked forward to being invited over for a Mireles barbecue. She and my Tio Carlos loved music so that was always playing in the background. You knew of course she would always have good food for she was a great cook. We were very saddened to hear the news of Rosa’s passing. She had a strong & beautiful spirit, and a hearty laugh that always made me smile. Rosa was a wonderful person who loved her family very much and was kind to all. She touched many lives and made the world a better place.
