Mrs. Rosa Lee Bass Whitsett born Sept 3rd 1929 in Whatley Alabama departed this life on July 12th 2020 to be with our Heavenly Father. She is preceded in death by her mother Carrie Bass (Chance, Alabama) and her father David Bass (Whatley, Alabama); her son Henry Bass, her sister Desiree Bass Peterson and her brother Lenzie Bass. She leaves to cherish her memory her daughter Carrie Andrews and her son Frank (Edna) Bell; sisters Emma McGary and Catherine Bell; 7 grandchildren, 17 Great Grandchildren, 13 Great Great Grandchildren and 2 Great Great Great Grandchildren and a host of cousins, nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held at Christian Benevolent Funeral Home at 201 N Hamilton St, Mobile AL 36603, on Friday, July 17, 2020 from 1pm to 4pm. The funeral service will be held at Christian Union Primitive Baptist Church located at 910 Mobile St, Mobile AL 36617,viewing is from 9am to 11am.
Elder Jeffrey T. Rainey Officiating with interment at The Catholic Cemetery located at 1700 Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Ave. Mobile, Alabama 36617.
