Not sure what to say?

Rosie will be missed by all who knew her. She was an exceptional lady! She was our principal for a time at Grand Avenue High School around 1998. It was a growing small school and every day seemed to present a new challenge. Even though Rosie's previous experience was with elementary school, she met the challenges of a growing new high school with respect and grace, and was loved by the staff and students. I learned that was how she approached everything. When she talked with you, she really...

I learned of Rosalies passing much too late. As a member of her staff at Lowell Elementary school I will always remember Rosalie as a strong and caring administrator. My deepest condolences to the many people who loved her.

I was so saddened to hear of Rosie's passing. She was one of the kindest, most caring people I ever met. It was nothing but a pleasure to work with her at MPS. My sincere sympathy to her brother and her equally sweet sister Pat, who I was lucky enough to work with when I began my educational career.

Pat - my deepest sympathies to you and your brother in the loss of your sister. Though I was in your class at SDHS, I remember Rosalie being such a friendly person. May God bring you peace and comfort during this very sad time. Sincerely,

Rosie always had a smile for everyone, and always remembered people even if it had been decades since she had last seen them.
We both went to South Division (both were valedictorians), and crossed paths again in our work at MPS.
"In quietness and in confidence shall be your strength." Isaiah 30:15.

Rosie so graciously and passionately shared of herself and touched many lives in a myriad of ways. It was my privilege to know her. She will be missed.

So sorry to hear about Rosie's passing. We knew her for many years, through her work in MPS, and then again with MTEC. Rosie was a delightful person, very caring. The children were always important to her, and especially the urban children. She will be missed.

Rosalie and I were classmates at South Division High School and colleagues at MPS. Always poised and willing to give her best were just a few of her outstanding qualities that distinguished this wonderfully talented lady. May she be welcomed into the Kingdom of Christ and may a perpetual light shine upon her soul.

I am sorry to hear of Rosie's passing. She was a fierce advocate for urban students and teachers and helped prepare this current generation of teachers. Rosie was tenacious yet sweet. I will miss her but am happy she has found peace.
