Mrs. Rosalie M. Kabana
Mrs. Rosalie M. Kabana, 94, Catawissa Street, Tuscarora, died Monday evening, May 26, in the Hometown Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Hometown. She was the widow of Francis J. Kabana Sr., who died Aug. 4, 1992.
She had worked for the former Tuscarora Sportswear.
Born in Schoentown, Schuylkill County, she was a daughter of the late Charles and Anna (Whitecavage) Stancavage.
She was a member of the former St. Bertha Catholic Church, Tuscarora.
Surviving are a son, Francis J. Jr., and his wife, Carol, of Tuscarora; four grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.
She was also preceded in death by a son, Richard E., who died on March 12, 2000; three sisters, Anna Bell, Margaret and Alice Scarborough; and five brothers, Charles, Francis, Hugh, Robert and Ronald.
Service: Funeral service 10 a.m. Friday, May 30, E. Franklin Griffiths Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 655 E. Broad St., Tamaqua. Interment, St. Bertha Cemetery, Walker Twp. Call 8:30-10 a.m. Friday. Online registry and condolences may be signed at www.griffithsfuneralhomes.com.
