Lancaster-Rosalie M. (Kosinski) Loasby, 98, passed peacefully at home surrounded by her loving family on Friday, August 22, 2025. She is preceded in death by her beloved husband of 57 years George A. Loasby, who died in 2003. She is survived by her son, George A. Loasby Jr. & wife Wanda; and granddaughter Heather Loasby; generations of nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. She is pre-deceased by her siblings, Ann Scales, Frank Kosinski, Mary Gardner, Joseph Kosinski, Veronica Lowe, Julia Ciavola, Antoinette Waseleski, Josephine Brennan, and Ellen Bryn.
Daughter of the late Stanislaw & Aniela (Brodowski) Kosinski, Rosalie was born, raised, and educated in Clinton. In addition to being a full-time homemaker, Rosalie spent her professional career working with ITT Surprenant, Ray-O-Vac, and Weetabix, from where she ultimately retired. A woman of great faith, Rosalie was a life member of the former Our Lady of Jasna Gora Church and St. John the Evangelist Church in Clinton. Among her many hobbies and interests, she enjoyed gardening, crochet, and completing crossword puzzles. Above all, she was a devoted matriarch, loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend.
A calling hour will be held on Friday, August 29, 2025 from 10 until 11AM with a Funeral Service immediately following at 11AM in the McNally & Watson Funeral Home, 304 Church St., Clinton. Burial will be in St. John’s Cemetery, Lancaster.
