ROSALIE ANN PFROGNER, 84 of Vanderbilt passed away at 9:07 PM Tuesday, October 7, 2025 at the residence of her daughter. Rosalie was born May 5, 1941 in Charleroi, a daughter of the late William Leonard and Catherine (Swiderski) Uhor. 


 


Rosalie was a devoted mother, grandmother sister, and aunt. She was a graduate of Hurst High School, Class of 1959 and a member of the Saint Stanislaus Church in Calumet. Rosalie was retired secretary working for many years at Westinghouse, Sears, Union Apparel, and at Art Craft Blazer. She also volunteered in the cafeteria at Conn-Area and Geibel schools. She enjoyed her grandchildren, the Holidays, soap operas, and watching Hallmark Christmas movies.


 


Rosalie will be sadly missed by her loving family; her three children, Frank Pfrogner (Melissa) of Stahlstown, Kimberly Owade (Joe) of Vanderbilt, and Brad Pfrogner of Greensburg; her three grandchildren, Kaylin and JJ Owade and Spencer Pfrogner; her sister, Mary Jane Makar of Greensburg; her brother, William Uhor of Greensburg; her brother-in-law, Alan Racan of Fairmont, WV; and her niece and nephews, Christen Stercho (Scott), Kevin Makar, and Steven Makar (Elaine). In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by: two sisters, Infant Catherine Louise Uhor and Janice Racan.


 


Personalized arrangements are under the professional supervision of the RALPH GALLEY  FUNERAL HOME, 501 RAILROAD STREET, DAWSON (www.fergusonfunerals.com). Family and friends will be received from 12-3 & 4-7 PM Sunday in the funeral home chapel followed by Prayers of Transfer at 10:15 AM Monday. Funeral Mass will be held at 11 AM Monday in St. Florian RC Church with Rev. Father John Sedlak as celebrant. Graveside committal service and interment will be in Saint Stanislaus Church Cemetery. Memorials may be made to: Mount Pleasant Hillman Cancer Center or Amedysis Hospice. Love Lasts Forever!
