ROSALIND B. CHAIKIN

My mother, Bertha Hartman, and my father, Al Hartman, were good friends of both Roz and Chick. Roz and my mother visited me and my wife in Vancouver, B.C. many years ago. My mother was an unofficial "editor" of Roz's books. She also worked with Roz at BOCES I am very sorry to hear of her passing.

My heartfelt and sincere condolences to all the family. I was priviledged to know Rosalind and Sol when I was associated with Brandeis University. After Sol's passing, I worked closely with Rosalind to create a special fund in Sol's memory. She was a lovely woman, caring and devoted. She will be missed by all who knew her. My heart and prayers are with you all during these difficult days.
