Rosalinda Longoria Obituary
SAN BENITO, TX. -
Rosalinda Longoria, 67, of San Benito, Texas was born November 10, 1946 to Jose Delgado and Catarina Farias.
Rosie was an animal lover, lover of sports, a devoted Dallas Cowboy fan, and a wonderful mother, grandmother, sister, and friend who will be dearly missed.
She entered into eternal peace on February 23, 2014 with her family at her bedside.
She is survived by her children Roberto (Cathy) Longoria Jr., and Yvette Longoria Serrata. Her grandchildren, Arnoldo "AJ" (Bernice) Serrata, Jr., Robert Longoria III, and Abel Mathew Longoria. Her new great grandchild, Landon Jay Serrata. Her siblings, Diana (Jose "Pepe") Deleon, Johnny (Judy) Delgado, Rudy Delgado, Sylvia Farias and Roy Beaver; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held Tuesday, February 25, 2014 from 10am to 9pm with a rosary at 7pm.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, February 26, 2014 at 10am at Trinity Funeral Chapel with burial to follow to Mont Meta Memorial Park Cemetery in San Benito.
Honored to serve as pallbearers will be family, Arnoldo "AJ' Serrata, Robert Longoria III, Abel Mathew Longoria, Joe Deleon, Carlos Beaver, and Eric Rangel.
The family would like to thank Valley Baptist Medical Center Palliative Care Staff, the 4th Floor staff, Odyssey Hospice, Dr. Laura Cisneros and the staff of Texas Oncology.
Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Trinity at Harrison Funeral Home 1002 East Harrison Avenue Harlingen, Texas 78550 (956-364-2444).
