I knew Rosalyn in Rutherfordton...She was a kind soul and when I went away to school in VA, we used to ride together on the same plane back to our prospective schools...I am saddeened to hear of her passing at such a young age...She was one of the ones that everyone loved...I will keep your family in my prayers...So sorry...

Dear Orr and Tanner families: I only recently learned of Rosalyn's passing and was extremely saddened. I worked with her when she worked at Greensboro Day School and I was so impressed by her dedication to students. She taught me so much about students who struggle to learn. God blessed this world with Rosalyn. She is and will always be the definition of LOVE. For such a tiny woman she had the biggest heart. She will always be much loved. She has made such an impact on my life, I miss her dearly. She is my motivation and I have managed to maintain an A in all my classes, that's what she would've expected.

Rosalyn had a smile that made me melt, and a hug that left me with positive energy. My thoughts and prayers to the Tanner and Orr family. I understand that she grew into a giving woman and mother. I wish that I could have been there. I was her baby sitter and big sister.
