Rosanna L. Willis

WILLIS, Rosanna L. - Of Flint, age 91, died Sunday, June 15, 2008 at her residence. Funeral service will be held 11AM Thursday, June 19, 2008 at the Swartz Funeral Home 1225 West Hill Road, Brock Millard officiating. Burial in Flint Memorial Park. Contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society or the American Heart Association. Visitation 5-8PM Tuesday, 1-4PM and 6-8PM Wednesday and 10AM Thursday until the time of the service at the funeral home. Rosanna was born in Flint on April 29, 1917, the daughter of the late Robert and Rozene (Burdick) Farrington. She married Raymond D. Willis on June 25, 1943 in Flint and he passed away on January 11, 2007. Rosanna was a 4-H leader for more than 10 years and member of the Neighborhood Home Economics. She loved her family, enjoyed crocheting and counted cross stitching. Surviving are daughters, Darlene and husband Charles Wiseley of Gaines, Deborah S. Leek of Otisville; son, David R. and wife Carolyn Willis of Columbiaville; grandchildren, Dawn Schuetz of Lennon, Jeffrey Gipson of Burton, Tiffanie Witherell of Durand, Charles S. Wiseley of Corunna, Jeffrey Wiseley of Owosso, Tina Beach of Vernon, Tracy Utley of North Branch, Angela Wells of Otisville, Amy Simpson of Davison and Dianna Bice of Columbiaville, Valerie Millard and Victoria Willis, both of Columbiaville and Raymond Willis of Lapeer; 23 great-grandchildren; sister-in-law, Wilma MacInnes.
