Not sure what to say?

My love and prayers are with you all. ~ Jacqueline Hoffman

I met a giant 33 years ago.

A wonderful friendship unfolded.

If I needed to talk to someone and be confident I would hear the absolute truth I would visit or call him.

If he gave me his word I didn't need a contract. His word was unquestioned.

He spoke no evil, did not spread rumors, give false hope, or pretend he liked you if he didn't. He was polite.

He laughed often, almost always carried a smile on his face and a twinkle in his...

Some of my favorite memories will be of the picnics and bbqs at Emmett's house. My family and I have been very blessed to have friends like the Parker family so close to us throughout our lives, Emmett and Edith were definitely two of my favorite people to be around. I know right now Emmett is in that big back yard in heaven, spending time with Edith again.

Emmett was a pt where i work...wonderful man who loved and spoke often of his kids and grandkids...we will miss you also Emmett....Pat Price

I was so blessed to have Emmett for my Grandpa! I couldn't have asked for a better Grandpa! He was always there for his family, and everyone that knew him was "family". He will be missed dearly, because he was loved dearly! He used to say he was the richest man in the whole world because he had so much love in his life. This he truly was! Love you Grandpa and I'll see you again someday! Beck~

GGPA with my mom

i love you and miss you already, GGPA Emmett!! I remembered the day when i first met him since my mom and stepdad married. He was a wonderful man i've ever seen in my life. I'll miss his sweet face.

I was a volunteer fireman with Emmett. For the last few years I would see him when I drove by the house and wave. I always meant to take time to stop and have a cup of coffee and chat with him. I never did. Well, Emmett, this cup of coffee is for you!
