I had the privilege of competing on the same team with Rosie in basketball for two seasons at Cal State Fullerton. She was always a force to be reaconed with as she threaded her way down court quickly and successfully leading her team to a third place finish in the National Championship Tournament in 1972. She was truly a leader of many and a great friend as well.
