Rose was a very special woman. She was an amazing teacher, when she was in a room she commanded respect, respect for acting, respect for life and for your ability to be the best you could be! She wanted everyone to rise to a challenge or why else be there?! She had a profound impact on my life! I changed course from a successful business career to an actress. I am happier in my life because she taught me with grace and generosity. I've had many teachers in my life but she was the Best...

I am shaken by news of rose's death.
Two flights up on bank street (was it two? too many years to remember) a tiny theatre imbued with wisps of magic and revelation.
Vanishing of yearned for home. echoes, in memory alone.

I studied acting with Rose from 1997 to 2006. I learned so much from her, it's hard to know where to even begin. There are so many wonderful things to say about Rose, but what I remember most is her fantastic wit, humor, warmth and genuine and unwavering support for her students.
I was so sad to learn of her passing, but she will have a place in my heart forever.
Rose was such a gifted and special human being. We have lost a truely remarkable woman. My heart and prayers...

I am so lucky to have had Rose Arrick in my life. I began studying acting with Rose in 1998 and remained studying with her for almost all of the next 9 years.
She was always so kind and supportive and encouraging. I have made life long, wonderful friends from her class, as Rose seemed to attract the nicest and warmest students to her.
It's still so hard to believe she has passed away. I'll always have her in my heart.

Rose never failed to make me laugh. She had a quick wit, wonderful sense of humor, and I always looked forward to her visits at my office. Even though we had a professional relationship, we very easily exchanged personal anecdotes. She was not the type of person one could forget... and I will miss her and her infectious laugh.
