In addition to being a warm, caring person, Rose and I shared some lovely times volunteering together at Carroll County Veterans Independence Project events. She would pop in periodically to the CCVIP center, sometimes with her Great Dane, Claire, to catch up on the news and how she could help us. God has a great new angel in Rose and I shall surely miss her, both on a volunteer basis and on a personal level.
