I was sad to here of Miss Rose's passing but also reminded of some fun and wonderful memories. When her great grandson, Tyler Smith, was in my first grade class she gladly came and volunteered at Mountain View Core Knowledge School. Her love for the kids (and her own family) was always evident. She was kind, sweet and a little bit "sassy" which I loved. My sympathies go out to the whole family but especially Donna, Trudy and Tyler. Rest in God's peace, sweet lady!
