Rose was my Spanish teacher for 3 wonderful years. In our senior year, we were only allowed to speak in Spanish. For those of you that know me, I´m a talker & this made me study even more. Later that year (graduated 1981) Rose gifted me a pendant from Spain as her most improved student. I learned that hard work & determination was recognized. I still have that pendant. What it represents is what´s important to me. She became a friend & we talked about things. She shared her paella...

A great friend and a loving neighbor of the Estero Place. Rose, you will always be in our hearts!!! We thank you very much for your kindness, for all the good memories, and for the time we spent together in our neighborhood. You are a joy! Rest well in heaven.

Very saddened by the passing of Rose. She meant so much to so many and was always a joy to be around- she will be dearly missed!

I'm so sorry to hear of the loss of querida doña Rosa. Rose & I taught together in Spain many summers. I remember very fondly our time together, her love of all things Spanish, her dedication to her students, her fun-loving nature, and her warmth and kindness. My condolences and love to Jim, the rest of the family, and friends Tim & Marcia. The world isn´t the same without Rosa.
