Not sure what to say?

Few individuals have the vision, the tenacity, the grit and the grace to accomplish something new and radically different for their community. Rose was one of them, working relentlessly and sending love and light as she went. May her soul rest in peace.

Rose - You were a strong, yet gentle woman who knew how to care for, explore and live every inch of life. You showed us how actions, not words, are the only real and lasting testament of true faith. You are an inspiration and a role model to all of us and we thank you for your kindness, your love and your humility...

Mama darling, you were all that and so much more. Your self-written Obit could have gone many more column inches, but you remained oh so humble till the end, and left all of your accolades out. Love you always. Pamela

A most generous, kind and a loving lady. My heartfelt condolences, Genelle and family.

Love you Grandma, Thank you for all you were and all you did.

I had the honor of working for Rose for many years, and can not adequately express how grateful I will always be for her wisdom, patience, and kindness. She was the most wonderful person that I will ever have had the privilege of knowing (and, yes Rose, I can hear you scoffing at my words in my mind!) God bless her and all of her wonderful family.

I will always remember Rose telling her story of arriving in Port Angeles, rounding the corner of Morse hill, & when seeing the mountains, said "This is home!" She was definitely a role model with a smile that you will never forget. Those that knew her remember her positive attitude. She was a real jewel to this community.

Grandma,
The boys and I love and miss you so much. You'll forever be in our hearts and watching over us from above.

Dearest Rose
There is no one I could possibly admire more. Your truth, kindness and humor were given to all. Your humanity and generosity was boundless. Your wisdom and just plane good advice, backed up with real help with my own mother could never be repayed. Rose you did not surprise me when you did not go kicking and screaming., as you said you would. You left us with Grace, Humor, Love and great Dignity. You will be greatly missed by your community. I will personally miss you...
