Rose Livingston Doby

My brother and I have been thinking about Rose and Carl since Bob Jr. Will be moving to San Diego later this year. He is planning a drive to Escondido because he found the address of the duplex where our two families lived. We may have only lived there a short time but it was a solid beginning of a lifetime friendship! Perhaps our parents are in heaven playing pinochle.

My family has many fond memories of Rose and Carl since knowing them from Escondido, California for 60 years. Navy families stick together! I remember Rose always smiling, especially when she and my mom would be the winners against my dad and Carl when playing pinochle. May a lifetime of happy memories strengthen you.
