Rose Fetters Obituary

Rose Mary Fetters Rose Mary Fetters, nee Schobert, 85, of Belleville, Illinois, born March 8, 1933, in Belleville, Illinois, passed away on Thursday, November 8, 2018, in O'Fallon, Illinois. Rose Mary proudly worked for Peerless-Premier Appliance Company in Belleville, Illinois. She attended St. Augustine Catholic Church in Belleville, with her beloved niece, Laurie and her family. In recent months, Laurie introduced her to and she forged a bond with Father Nick and the parish at St. Stephen Catholic Church in Caseyville. She enjoyed puzzles, bingo and watching game shows. She enjoyed watching birds of all kinds, especially the hummingbirds that gathered outside her window. She was an avid fan of baseball and the St. Louis Cardinals. She loved her rescue dog, Skeeter; however, her true passion were the bonds she shared with her family. Every year, she would gather the grandchildren and bake countless Christmas and Easter cookies with the support of all her "helpers". Rose Mary was a loving, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother, who will truly be missed by all who knew her. Rosemary is one of the best. As Doug said I cannot remember her never smiling. She always had kind words. She will be missed.

Aunt Rosemary was one the nicest people I have ever known. She always found a way to smile about something and put a smile on your face. I didn't think she would make it through her ordeal at St. Elizabeth's Hospital a few years ago. She was definitely a fighter. She and Annie would come to visit Joan and Bill, my mom and dad at their house before they passed away, always bringing something good to eat! I was fortunate enough to catch them there once in a while. God has another Angel! Love, Doug
