Rose Marie Flood

Rose was my role model for how to (not) get old. I am 16 years her junior and she could move and think circles around me. Always young and looking for the next fun thing to do. My love and heart go out to my dear friend Michele and we will have many good future moments talking about and laughing about all the good times we had with her precious Mama Rose - Bill and I are thinking about and loving you, Michele. RIP Rose, my friend.

Mama Rose was a remarkable woman. She seemed 20 years younger than her actual age and was devoted to helping her daughter, Michelle. Mama Rose was always welcoming to her and Michelle’s house and she was always ready to meet others out for meals or to travel with Michelle during union meetings, always keeping herself busy sight-seeing. All we moved from the area, we kept in tough with Mama Rose and Michelle and learned of her health problems. She sounded so bright every time we spoke with...
