Read MoreShe was a great teacher at St. Thomas School. Both my wife and myself were her students back in 1979. We saw her in 2003 at the Fall Craft Festival. She remembered us both. While she was a kind, nuturing teacher, she seemed to possess eyes in the back of her head; we couldn't get away with anything in her class. She must have been thrilled with the her beloved Red Sox world championship. Farewell.

As an adult, I now realize how much of a positive impact Sister and all the nuns that taught at St. Thomas the Apostle during the 1970s played in my life.....
I hope she's at peace.....
