Not sure what to say?

I've just learned of Rose's passing. For years I've tried to locate her, to see her and say hello. I didn't know she'd moved to Alabama. I loved Rose. She was a special lady, funny - so funny, kind and caring. Full of spunk. Her grandson, Michael, and I were good friends and many a day was spent around her dining table telling stories and laughing. We all rode horses together at Deerwood and Exeter Farms in Jacksonville. I'm just heartbroken that she's gone. Good-bye sweet lady. ...

MS. ROSE WAS SUCH A BLESSING TO ME. SHE ALWAYS MADE ME SMILE AND I THOUGHT SHE WAS SUCH A FIESTY PERSON. I WILL REALLY MISS HER. THANK YOU FOR THE WONDERFUL MEMORIES MS. ROSE.

Rose was such a valuable Volunteer at Wolfson Children's Hospital Auxiliary beginning in 1978. Her personality was so wonderful in our Mother Hubbard Cubbard and other services where she had a positive impact on the children. Rose was special to us and will be missed.

I saw in the paper yesterday about Rose and couldn't help but cry my heart out. I truly thought Rose was a most special lady and both Dan and I loved her dearly. I have missed her since she moved to AL and I tryed to call every so often. I only wish I could have come to see her prior to her death. Dan and I sincerely send our love and prayers to all the family. We have all lost a most special person in our lives. Jack asked that we also convey his love.

We are so saddened to learn of Rose's passing. We so regret that we did not see her for a long time and wish that we had made an effort to find her in Alabama. We have such lovely memories of Rose, of the the great trips we took together and of the bridge games and fun dinners at our house. She was a terrific lady and we feel so lucky to have known her. Please know that we send you sincere condolences along with love to the whole family.
