Not sure what to say?

My husband and I finally made our first trip to the Cape this past weekend. We kept looking for Rose at Smuggler's -- sitting up by the fence tanning her tummy -- swimming with her always present white bathing cap -- when we saw my brother-in-law, we told him we never saw Rose, and he informed us that she passed away just last week. We are so sorry for your loss. She was a friendly, lovely woman who always had time to chat. We will miss her greatly.

Thank you all for the loving words regarding our mom and nana. Her favorite place on earth was Smugglers Beach and the relationships that she made there. She will forever be a part of it. Robin.

May your memories of the wonderful times you shared with your loved one comfort you and your family, today and always.

Rose was our ray of sunshine at the beach. We enjoyed many swims together, or should I say water aerobics. I don't know if she was running in place for the exercise or trying to keep the crabs from biting her toes. Warm thoughts and condolences go to Rose's family during this difficult time.

Will forever miss your beautiful self at our beach. We will think of you every time the sun shines.

We are so sad to hear about Rose. She was a great friend to Mom for so many years. I will always remember all the "Beach Buddies" standing in the water chatting at Smugglers Beach. I asked Mom how they could understand each other since they all seemed to be speaking at the same time!! I will never go to Smugglers without thinking of Rose in her favorite chair enjoying the beach and her friends. Much love, Linda (Whittaker) Azersky, Marlene Whittaker, and Cliff and Colby Azersky.
