Not sure what to say?

To Aunt Roses loved ones When I was a little girl your mom took me to Santa´s Village. I still have the picture of me sitting on Santa´s lap. Your mom threw me my baby shower for my first child. She showed me so much love and kindness. As a first time single mom her thoughtfulness will never be forgotten. I reconnected with Aunt Rose during the last year of her life. She was on my heart and I wanted to let her know how much her love and generous Spirit meant to me all those years ago. I am so...

I am saddened to hear of Rose's passing. I am blessed to have known her for so many years. She will be missed.

We go back many years. We talked many times on the phone. You and George were very good to me when I was sick. You'll be deeply missed.

A long-time colleague and friend of Tina's at Elmhurst University, and friend of Gina, I want you to know how sorry we all are in the English Department for this tremendous loss to your family. You are in our hearts and we think of you with love. oooo

She was the only one left after her sisters, Pierna, Sarah, Eva, Clara, MaryEllen and brothers Carmen and Donald passed. She missed them terribly. Rose was so generous with her time, making food for Church events. At times hundreds of her famous meatballs! This is one lady that will be missed. Our family loved her. Anita...

I am so sorry for your loss. Rose was my Aunt Sarah´s half-sister. I have precious memories of her and loved her dearly.

I´m so sorry for your loss. I always loved seeing your mom back in the day. She was larger than life with her boisterous personality and always made me laugh. I hope her roosters find a loving home!

I am so sorry for your loss I will miss her dearly. Always a good aunt to me

I am posting the rest of the obituary for a second time, as my submission from yesterday hasn't appeared yet. She was an aunt, godmother and friend to many. Rose devoted countless hours to Roosevelt PTA in Dolton and to (then) Queen of Apostles Parish in Riverdale; worked at the family business in Chicago Heights, Athens Pizza Supply; and produced numerous knitting and sewing projects. Collector of roosters, maker of meatballs, and fan of opera, Rose took great pride in her Italian...
