Not sure what to say?

Mrs. Lee was my elementary school principal at P.S. 160 in Queens, New York. Luckily, I never had to go to her office for anything, but when I saw her in the hallways or the cafeteria, she always had encouraging words. She was a beautiful woman. My condolences to the Lee family.

It is with profound sadness that I learned today of Rose's passing. I will always value her friendship and the support she gave me during my recent campaign. Dave, you will be in my thoughts and prayers during these difficult times.

We have known Rose for at least 35 years. We were both principals in the New York City school system. She was a unique person, loved by her teachers and students. I retired to my home, Portsmouth, Va. and she retired to the neighboring city of Newport News. She was an asset to any place that she happened to be. She will be sorely missed.

Rose was always a joy to see when she would visit Mary Immaculate Hospital Lab. She was what we called a "regular" and we got to know her smiling face very well over the years. Her presence will be greatly missed and we all are feeling the loss of one of God's Roses. Our sincerest sympathy to the family. MIH Laboratory Staff

Rose could always bring a smile to your face nomatter how long it had been since she had seen you. The "Rose-way" of retelling stories will keep me smiling and remembering her.

When I think of Rose it puts a smile on my face. I see her beautiful flowers, her smile as she waves, her special yard characters that have names, and her youthful stride as she walked. How blessed I am to know her & Dave. My dog and I will miss her.

Rose will be greatly missed. She was a wonderful neighbor and we will miss seeing her working in her yard, walking in the neighborhood and most of all, her friendly conversation whenever she saw you.
