Rose F. (Marino) Luth, of Broad Brook, formerly of Reading, Mass., passed Sept. 24, 2007, after a brief illness.

She was the beloved wife of the late Charles A. Luth and the late Leon A. LaFreniere; devoted mother of Anne Marie LeTourneau and her husband, Peter, of Reading, Mass., Leon A. LaFreniere Jr. and his wife, Susan, of Bolton, and Paul M. LaFreniere and his wife, Gayle Fichtinger, of Savannah Ga., and New London, N.H.; and loving grandmother of Lisa and Suzanne LeTourneau of Reading.

Funeral from the Douglass, Edgerley, and Bessom Funeral Home, 25 Sanborn St. (corner of Woburn St.) Reading, is Saturday, Sept. 29, at 8 a.m., followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Agnes Church, 186 Woburn St., Reading, Mass., at 9 a.m. Relatives and friends are invited to attend.

Funeral Home visiting hours are Friday, 3 to 7 p.m. Burial will be in Charles Lawn Cemetery, Reading.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Rose's memory to North Central Hospice and Palliative Care, 8 Keynote Dr., Vernon, CT 06066.

We will truly miss our daily chats at the pool. You were a very good friend and will surely be missed.

Although we had known Rose for a few short years, we enjoyed her company and her positive attitude. She loved her family and was proud of all of you. She will be missed in Ro-Len. Our deepest sympathy to the all of you.
