Rose Mary Manning

Rose worked with me at Parke Davis and we successfully published a scientific paper. She was knowledgeable, kind and fun. Godspeed Rose!

Rosie and I became friends when she was a volunteer in mission at Sheldon Jackson College. When I moved away in 2008, we remained friends via letters and when I would visit Sitka, she and I would always play Scrabble. She was a mentor of sorts to me and sort of like a mother figure. I enjoyed her Irish sense of humor and miss that the most. Rest in peace Rosie.

I talked to Rosie most in this last year. She became a regular phone friend. My mother Joyce, Rosie´s sister, told me that we need to `pray people to heaven´. Rosie had a devotion to St Padre Pio. Please ask him to assist in `praying Rosie to heaven´. I really miss my regular phone calls with Rosie Beth

We called her Rosie. She was my Godmother. Rosie was without question the best Godmother a kid could have. Not because of religion, although I got plenty of those talks from her over the years, but mostly because she NEVER forgot me. Never. She was always with me with a kind word, a hug when she was around and encouragement. We made each other laugh on the phone for hours my entire adult like. In person too, like the time at my Aunt Doni´s house when she introduced me to her new...
