Mrs. Martinez was my 1st grade teacher at Kearny Elementary School and as years passed I always kept her close to my heart because of the sweet, caring woman I knew her to be. My deepest condolences to the Martinez family. I have always had warm, wonderful memories of Mrs. Martinez. She was my first grade teacher at Kearny in 1970. It was a tough transition away from mom. Mrs. Martinez was my mom away from home that year. I have never forgotten her kindness or teachings. You will always be in my heart.
