I met Rose at Camp Baker at the Charleston JCC when we were young children. I didn´t live in Charleston, so we didn´t reconnect until we were teens in TYG. I stayed at the Nathans´ home several times and always felt very welcomed. Rose was so bright! I enjoyed her dry sense of humor. Although we both lived in Atlanta, I regret that we didn´t stay in touch. Rose´s many accomplishments did not surprise me- even as a young woman she applied herself in all her pursuits. My heart goes out to Mei,...

You did it, Rose! You changed the world! You changed it for the better in more ways than we can count. You changed us for the better just by knowing you.
We will miss you forever. All our love.

I got to know Rose through our work-related activities about 3 decades ago, but we soon became close personal friends. Along with Ellie and Dina, the 4 of us "brunch pals" celebrated each other´s birthdays and special friendship rotating between our homes. I´ll never forget taking vacations together, watching Mei grow up, and laughing at Rose´s dry wit. I have a lost a very dear friend. I was so honored to be Rose´s pal.

Though we didn't see each other much in the past forty years, she remained one of my fondest friends from my childhood. She will be sorely missed. My heartfelt sympathy goes out to Mei, Beth and...

I so adored Rose. She imbues a tremendous portion of my memories from preschool through high school graduation. She charted her path as a young woman and stayed true to her course throughout the entirety of her life. Much, much love.
