Not sure what to say?

I too have many happy memories of Auntie Rose and the Pati household. The family gatherings in the yard for confirmations or Easter... whatever the occasion, the place was filled with laughter, food and music... Accordian, guitars, and Auntie Rose on the harmonica. These are the images and memories I will always hold dear. Many years later and many years ago, I was very happy to bring my own family back to meet my Aunts. Fried dough with sugar in the kitchen.. you want another? Catherine,...

I was quite saddened when I heard the news of Aunt Rose's passing. But out of that sadness came fond recollections of times spent at 31 Meadow Avenue as a kid. Whether it was a bus ride downtown to shop for a new coat, walking to Sadie's for an ice cream or something, or just hanging out at 31 Meadow Av during the summer schoool break, Aunt Rose always seemed to be able to keep things upbeat and fun. While she may have passed on, fond memories of her will remain with me.

Sorry For Your Loss son of late angelo and mary scungio

Mom,
What can I say to you, to make you feel better? I know how much you adored auntie Rosie, and how sad you were, you couldn't see more of her. Just be happy that she's in heaven with all her sisters and brothers rather than here, all alone. Please try to remember all the hundreds of good times, and don't cry. I'm here for you, and I'm so sorry, mom, you lost your aunt. I love you,
Your son, Grant

Dear Eddie and Barbara,
I am very sorry to hear about Auntie Rosie dying. I loved her a lot, and I will miss going to visit her when mom and I go to Rhode Island. She was always nice to me. Now, I guess she's with my Nana, which is where she wanted to be.
Again, I'm sorry.
Grant

Dear Clara and Susie:

Our condolences to you both on Rose's passing.
May your happy memories of her help you both through these sad times.

Eddie, my oldest and dearest cousin; as I am slumped here in front of my computer, tears staining my face, I find myself having to say goodbye to the last of the 'good ole gals' that saw us through life. Your mom, my mom, and of course Auntie Rosie, were the staples we could always count on. From the time I was old enough to understand anything at all, I understood how very fortunate we all were, all us cousins, to have the benefit of the warmth, generosity, and love bestowed on us with...
