Rose Pikul (nee Maglionico), 87.  Beloved and loyal wife of the late Thomas;  Loving and cherished mother of Rhoda, Joseph (Anya), Christina (deceased), Jeanne Jackson (Robert), Daina Kinderman (Bill), and Cathy Cigoi (Ralph);  Devoted and precious grandmother of Thomas, Annie Rose, John, Vivien, Stefan, Elizabeth, Tammy, Tracy, Michael, Rob, and Nicholas;  Great-grandmother of 12.  Sister of Oronzo (dec.), Consiglia (dec.), Dominic (dec.), Mary Stephans (dec.), John Maglionico, Angelina Paletta, and Linda Kelber;  Sister-in-law of Lillian Zavarella (dec), Leona Long (dec.), and Janet Allega.    Also survived and admired by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and dear friends.  Rose was well-known for being a self-taught and well-accomplished baker who also mastered the art of distinguished cake decorating.  Her talents serviced countless family, friends, acquaintances and the general public.  She has left a fingerprint of kindness, generosity, and benevolence to all who knew her.  She will be missed by all.  


 


Visitation Friday, June 14, 2019 from 2:00 – 8:00 p.m. at Fortuna Funeral Home, 7076 Brecksville Rd., Independence, Ohio 44131.  Funeral services Saturday. June 15, 2019 at 9:00 a.m. followed by Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m.at. St. John Cantius Church, 906 College Ave, Cleveland, Ohio.  Interment Holy Cross Cemetery.

My Aunt Rose I surely will miss you There are so many wonderful memories that I will carry in my heart forever. Aunt Rose you are one of the strongest woman I know . Your smile , your laugh your talent to cook , bake and make so many people love you Will never be forgotten . Love you for ever love you for always my Aunt Rosie you will be.

I will always remember Rose with deep admiration. She was loving and kind. Whenever I make coconut squares I smile and think of her.
She taught me how to make them!
