At Rose's 85th Birthday Party

We loved our 2 years with Rose on Balboa Island and will never forget our great memories with her. She had such a genuine love of life and spending time with people--a woman to be admired!

What wonderful memories we have with Rosie! Balboa Island won't be the same.
Our love,
Zana & Evan

My parents, Helen & Norman Gross, were friends of Frank and Rose Salter back in the 1970s. My dad was with the City of Hope and later became an attorney, and Frank Salter was a great mentor of his. Words cannot even begin to explain this loss. A lifelong friend with a beautiful smile. An amazing woman. Miss you, Rosie.

I will always have many fond memories sharing family events both happy and sad. She was a remarkable lady. I send my love to all of you.

Rosie..thanks for all the great memories. You will live on through all of us who cared about you!

I loved you Rose, you were like a 2nd mother to me. You were full of life, always a good word for everyone and always made me laugh. I have such great memories growing up with Randy and spending some great summers on the Island. You will be missed my many, but never forgotten. The Island will never be the same and I toast my glass to you "my sweet Rose" love David Rikelman

I miss you Grandma! You were an amazing woman and someone I have always looked up to. You lived the most amazing life and I only hope I can experience half of what you accomplished. You changed this world and we are all better because of it.

Our deepest condolences to the family. May her memory be for a blessing.
