Rose Ann Seeno, passed away peacefully at home, at the age of 95. Rose was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and friend. Rose was born on August 6, 1917 in Monterey, Ca to Salvatore and Marietta Russo. She met and married Albert D. Seeno in 1938, moving to Pittsburg, where they raised their children, Thomas A. Seeno (Norine), Patricia J. Brookshire, Albert D. Seeno Jr. (Sandy), Karen A. Seeno, and Richard B. Seeno (Marina). She is also survived by 12 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren, 2 great great grandchildren, sisters Stella DiMaggio, Faye Marcuzzo and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband Albert D. Seeno Sr., in 2000, her parents, her brother Shedo "Buck" Russo, her sisters, Kate Marchon, Marian Davi, Virginia Martinez and Josephine Lentini. Rose loved to be with her family, socialize with her friends and attend live performing arts. Healthy eating was important to her and she was considered the Health Guru of her family and was a wonderful cook. Visitation Thursday, March 7, at 5:30pm with a vigil at 7:00pm. Funeral liturgy Friday, March 8, at 10:00am both days at Church of the Good Shepherd. Committal services following at Holy Cross Cemetery, Antioch. Donations may be made in her name to the Pittsburg Historical Society, Church of the Good Shepherd, Lesher Center for the Arts or the charity of your choice.
