Rose F. Splick

It was so great to see Cousin Rose at our 2011 Family Reunion. She was so warm, welcoming and especially thoughtful. Rose gifted me a necklace with the Ukrainian Coat of Arms. What a blessing, Rose, rest in peace of a life well-lived. Much love.

Rose was not only the best Godmother a person could ask for, but a force to be reckoned with. I always admired her strength and convictions. She was a woman with high moral values and you were truly blessed to be able to be in her world. Rose was a woman with opinions when woman were supposed to have any. That is one of the things that I loved best about her. I will miss her, but I know she is in Heaven with her beloved "Frankie."

Rose has always been part of my family, not bound by blood but through unwavering love and friendship. Even though we have lived in California for almost 50 years, Rose has always been there for us. As a child, I admired her strong work ethic and fierce loyalty to friends. As an adult, I learned to appreciate her sense of humor as well. I'll miss you Rose; all who knew you will. Godspeed.

Memory eternal, Rose! The parish members of the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Orthodox Church in South Plainfield, Pani Dorothy and I fondly remember dear Rose and are so sorry to hear of her falling asleep. She gave of her time, talent and treasure to the parish family like helping a the pierogi project (when she wasn't in Port Richey, Florida). I think she ate as many as she cooked and packaged!
