I enjoyed having her for a neighbor and also played quite a lot of bridge with her. We also were born and raised in the same town so we made a connection there. It was fun to talk about Alpena.. I am so sorry for her daughters- I know that she will be missed by many people.

Rose was my second grade teacher in 1962. Later I started working for the district and we became friends. I recently saw her at Firekeepers and she told me of her cancer. She didn't let it get her down. She was unstoppable and beautiful lady. Gonna miss you Rose
