Rose A. Tobben

Aunt Rose was a loving woman who was kind and gentle and well-loved. I am sure you all miss her tremendously. You are all in our minds and prayers.

Rose was very sweet to me in every encounter. She came often to the Washington Brass Band events because her husband, Omar, played baritone horn in the band. I had the pleasure in Omar's later years driving him to band rehearsals. He was so proud of all of his children and grandchildren having college degrees. We had good discussions on our way to band. My heart is with all of Rose's children, grandchildren, and other relatives.

Mrs. Tobben was a wise and steadfast woman. You can be proud of such a remarkable mother. I am saddened by your loss. Mary Hall Chiles
